Anna Leppo (psychoanalyst candidate, analytical psychology, D.Sc.) examines in her presentation archetypal symbols from the perspective of psychic energy, their capacity to transform psychic energy and direct action.
The second talk is given by Katri Käppi (psychoanalyst candidate, analytical psychology, MuM), on the subject of the archetype of the negative mother. “The nurturing and sustaining archetype of the Great Mother also has a negative aspect. As an inner figure, the ‘death mother’ can prevent the formation of connection with oneself and with others. From the perspective of individuation, encountering this figure is important.”

The book explores animal myths and their traces in Finnic cultures, folk poetry and the Finnish language. Jungian psychoanalyst Harri Virtanen will comment on the topic from a Jungian perspective.
